OUR ORIGIN STORY

The Dirty Little Secrets Improv Show was founded by Dan Dumsha in 2015 the back room of a Mexican restaurant on Avenue A in New York City. A group of pals got together with the goal of making each other laugh. When the bell used in the show started being confused for the kitchen's ding to notify waiters that food was ready, we knew it was time to switch venues. We picked up and moved up the block to the East Village's storied Niagara on the corner of 7th and A where the show ran to packed houses for 5 seasons. The show now runs at the BATSU space on 1st Avenue and East 4th Street. The Dirty Little Secrets Improv Show has also gone international with productions in Vancouver, Canada, Sydney, Australia, Edmonton, Canada and Dublin, Ireland.
